I had no-one to ask and someone said here is a place you can ask with no shame
I immigrated to vancouver 10 years ago, and recently I lost my mother back home the only family member I had I lost her during one of the hardest periods of my life I had just been laid off, and for a long time I had been financially supporting her as well. Now, at 35 years old, I feel a strong desire to finally build a real professional career for myself. It has always been my dream to go to university or college and continue my education. Despite all the difficulties, I finally have the opportunity to do that now. Financially, I will probably still need to continue working general jobs while studying, but I want to ask honestly: do you think I still have a real chance if I study for the next year, get a diploma, and try to enter fields like Marketing or UI/UX design? What would be your best advice for someone in my situation?
