I’m UK based and sell mainly on Vinted, had the same concern when I started looking outside thrifting. I haven’t gone into wholesale myself yet for that exact reason, feels like a bigger risk if you don’t know what you’re getting.
From what I’ve seen though, most people test really small first and pay close attention to grading and reviews. If a seller can’t show clear examples of what “grade A” looks like or avoids questions, that’s usually a red flag. I’d rather miss out on a deal than get stuck with 50 dead pieces.
