I was put on a PiP in October 2025. Things were going well (the last 4-5 meetings my team lead was like oh nothing to report just keep doing good work like this, you have fixed all the issues that needed attention) then she went on vacation for 3 weeks and there was no follow-ups. Her boss put the follow-ups in my Outlook but eventually cancelled all of them.

Now my TL has been back for 2-3 weeks, still no word about the follow-ups (they should be every two weeks.)

This morning I got a meeting saying well you failed the PiP because we saw a slight decrease in your output between March and April and we expect constant excellence.

I was like well you didn't even follow-up on me and my boss said we're not here to discuss things we're here to tell you you're fired.

He asked to get my badge and I couldn't even get to my desk to grab all of my stuff.

Pretty sure this is good grounds for filing a complaint ? I'm in Canada and I have worked there for 6 years+
