Random cold and hot spells 🙃
Yall send help. I told my bari dr this and all my labs she sent off have come back “normal” (pardon my cynicism)…. Wondered if anyone else had this experience….
im 18ish months post op RNY. I have been having extreme temperature regulation issues for the last couple of months and I wanted to know if this is normal or if I needed some sort of follow up or testing.
I am cold a lot to the point where my nose is bright red(I’m a fair skinned African-American woman but this has never happened to me before) I figured being cold more often with a normal sign of bariatric surgery and that’s OK, but not to the point where my nose is red in the middle of the spring or summer…..
Additionally, I am also sweating at night and sweltering hot even with just a sheet and light breathable clothing and the house thermostat being set to a cold temperature. Last night I had to change my clothes and my sheets and shower twice because I woke up pouring sweat l both times. I have the house set 63° but it’s colder than normal and two fans.
I did not have either issue prior to having surgery and honestly, even though I’m in my late 30s, I’m worried that the surgery caused perimenopausal symptoms to start and I don’t really know if this is normal or not
