I have this Aunt who is a college graduate but never had a real job since her graduation. She is (54 atm) who only relies on her old mother's pension. She has a younger brother who is well off now abroad but grow tired of her ate for being naive.
First, if someone treats her food, she always order the MOST EXPENSIVE food on the menu, and always requests for take-out. So everytime we eat, she always has the biggest, largest, and grandest meal as if she is the one paying for it.
Second, during last elections, she voted for a famously corrupt congressman and actually she is one of the campaign leaders for that politician. The said politician lost. My mom and other uncles opted to vote for the other politician (that actually won). Now, this politician is giving away "medical assistance" (Basically delayed vote buying) but this aunt of mine was the first one to literally complain in the Barangay Hall because her name wasn't on the list.
Third, we were planning a surprise birthday party for my mom since she is turning 60, we have second thoughts on inviting this aunt and her mom since they are very well known to tell secrets to everyone they talk to. So what we did is we invited them but we didn't mention anything about the surprise, we said another event will be happening. But for some reason, they learned about it and told my mom about the surprise. And now, the surprise we planned for months are now spoiled.
She is the cousin (in my case, aunt) that you will be offended if you were to be compared to her. Why do I have to adjust to her? SHE IS 30 YEARS OLDER THAN ME but why am I the one who needs to adjust for her?
