[Junghans] [Form C] vs. [Max Bill Handaufzug]
I'm preparing to buy my first real watch, and I have zeroed in on Junghans, but I'm stuck between the Max Bill Handaufzug and Form C.
I like these two because they're 1) minimal and beautiful 2) black leather strap 2) are in my price range (kinda...). I'm prioritizing those features because I'd like to wear this to work every day and casually. I think these are thoughtful, serious, and artistic without being flashy.
The Handaufzug is my favorite design, and I don't think I would mind hand-winding for a second every morning (**correct me if I'm wrong about that**). But it is a lot more than the Form C.
I think these Form C is beautiful, but the face is a little more busy. I think I'd be okay with it. Still would happily stare at it daily. It's not as busy as others out there. But still busier and I want simplicity.
Do you think the Max Bill Handaufzug is much better in form and/or function - enough to justify roughly double the price of the Form C? Is there anything I'm not thinking about?
