Since today marks Deep cut's 4th reveal anniversary, I decided it was to stop procrastinating and finally get these posted.

And yes, Master Mega is a Makoid here! I already hinted at him being more sapient than canon because of the phone number line in the comic, but here’s his ref for now.

I was gonna post some Requiem stuff, but I noticed it’s 8/8 day so how about some of my Eight instead

First piece is something I posted on Deviantart earlier this year, second is her general ref and last is her and my Cap’n 3. First one had a version that looked more in line with her ref but I lost it while I was switching IPads (still a lil beat up about it)

Another favorite of mine, what can I say, the split panel on top turned out incredibly. Shocked expressions are also just super fun to draw (especially with these three fuckers)

I’ve got a real soft spot for this one- not just because of these idiots being wholesome, It was where my comic making ability really started to improve

I already stated that I did most of the comic out of order, and I think this is kinda where there’s a smoking gun for that because of Big Man’s patterns changing slightly (the stripes near his “neck” and bumpy outlines on his underside borders, if that makes any sense) which aren’t present in the first couple of pages

At the end of the day, when you’re making a comic you’re not gonna be able to make every little detail consistent, lmao

I bring to you a break in our scheduled programming (AKA Requiem) since Raiders drops next week, and I'm still crazy bout Shiver ever since the big direct, especially that lil performance at the end. And the next few pages of Requiem are centered around her so it still fits.
As well as a version without text, here’s an alternate version with a Raider’s inspired background (since I didn’t know where to find a proper one), I think I did good on it and didn’t want it to go to waste

And yes, I know IRL Manta rays don’t have stingers, but most of Big Man’s species does in my universe- he just never uses it unless the situation is dire like here.
