C.O.R.E genuinely feels like India is finally getting a proper fandom festival
Most conventions here usually end up being mainly merch stalls + a stage area, which is still fun, but C.O.R.E looks like they’re trying something way more immersive.
The themed zones sound pretty unique. Tokyo Street for anime/Japanese culture, India Gully for desi creators and fandoms, music stages, cosplay ramps, AR/VR experiences, workshops, photo installations, indie artists, gaming, creator meet. It feels like a mini pop-culture city.
I am happy that independent creators and artists are getting proper representations and not just big brands.
If they execute this properly, I can genuinely see this becoming one of the biggest pop culture events in India over the next few years.
If even half of this is executed properly, the vibe at this event is gonna be insane
