Hey guys I moved into an apartment and the first day my partner and I saw multiple live roaches and dead ones in the apartment. At first we thought maybe it was just because the apartment was vacant for a month. Maintenance came and sprayed the next day, and after we found like 20 dead ones. It has been 3 days since pest control and each day we have been finding many tiny baby roaches all over our furniture and medium sized ones on the walls (at least 15). Not just the kitchen/dining either but on the walls of the bedrooms and bathrooms! We havent even fully moved in yet since I spotted them day 1, so there's no food either. How do I get out of this lease without penalty?! I have no confidence that their pest control will take care of this. They said to give them the next week but there is no way I can comfortably live here with number of roaches we have seen. Any suggestions on apartments without infestations??
