26M solo traveller tryna have a fun fucking night before I leave in two days. Tryna turn up and dance w some cool people but recommendations fine too. Open to p much anything.

Hey what’s going on, I am a solo traveller (26M) looking for some things to do solo. I’ve already done phi phi islands and have Tiger Temple on my bucket list. Past couple days I’ve been roaming the ao nang beach and seeing the stores. Getting massages (real massages) and it’s been great but kinda starting to get boring. Any suggestions on things I must experience?

I also have been feeling the lonesomeness of solo travelling. Not familiar with bars/clubs but still after pushes from my friends back home and Reddit community, I went to a bar solo. Had a drink, then 3. Then went to go talk to a girl who was sitting alone and asked if I could join her. She said she was waiting for someone which was cool so I made my way to the dance floor, I started dancing a bit and made eye contact w a group to try and get invited in, they ignored me. I tried a second group, same thing. I understand they want to stay within their friend group but how do I connect with people in such places?

Going up to a group by myself seems too daunting and there’s rarely other people solo. Even when there’s loud music and talking is not the priority, I can’t seem to join in. I wouldn’t say I’m ugly, I’m 6ft with an athleticish body and a decent face card but how am I supposed to talk to people without being in group activities. In group activities it’s fine because we’re all on the boat or bus together so it’s easier but when free roaming I get stuck.

I’m trying to get out my comfort zone while I’m here and grow but Idk what I’m doing wrong. I’m not a heavy drinker/smoker so I don’t go to bars but even then I’ve tried that.
