Hi, I'm trying to replace the heating element in my Hotpoint oven. I've looked at videos on how to do it and it seems simple enough. I've got the point where I need to remove the clips from the old element and they simply just will not come off. I've tried wiggling with nose point pliers, WD40. The clip wiggles from side to side but no matter what I try it just will not pull off. Does anyone know why this is happening? Any advice for getting it off?
