which course did you find more difficult: Orgo chem, Calculus III or Thermodynamics? I’m especially interested in hearing from Chemical Engineering students. Thanks!

Asking for Realistic advice

**Asking for Realistic advice**
Hi everyone,
I’m an international pre-med student majoring in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
After transferring from other college to the one more competitive, I struggled academically, and my cumulative GPA is currently around 3.0. I know that’s a significant weakness, especially as an international applicant.
Outside the classroom, I’ve built a strong research and clinical background, including research at my college, volunteering at very important hospital. From first to second semestre after my transfer my grades are going better. I’m hoping to improve my GPA over my remaining semesters, score highly on the MCAT, and publish at least one paper.
Realistically, do I still have a chance at U.S. MD/DO programs, or should I be planning on a post-bacc or Special Master’s Program first?
I’d really appreciate honest advice, especially from anyone who has overcome a low GPA. Thanks!
