My Nothing Ear (2) battery is dying, so I upgraded to the Sony WF-1000XM6 hoping for better ANC, mic quality, and battery life on Android.

After 2 days… I’m honestly disappointed 😅

No matter which tips I use or how many fit checks I do, getting them in properly takes forever. Quick calls on the go? Forget it. ANC also randomly turned itself off a few times even with auto settings disabled. So they’re going back.

I actually liked my Nothing Ear (2) a lot — I just want:

* noticeably better ANC

* better mic quality for calls

* solid battery life

* easy/comfortable fit for commuting + office use

Any recommendations from people who made a similar switch?
