Heading into week 3 after my driving assessment and I haven't received a rejection email or conditional offer. Has anyone gotten a conditional offer this far out?

Or am I being ghosted? If you reciecved a rejection, did your Tesla portal status change or did it still say "Open" ?

Honestly the experience ia making me consider not getting a Tesla this summer. I have about $20,000 in EV grants/rebates I'm eligible for but if this is how my location operates, its making me think twice.

Some information on my experience to help you with the timeline for this role and set up your expectations:

1. Application

2. AI interview

3. Driving Test

4. Conditional Offer

5. Background and full panel drug test (yes, THC is tested)

6. Final offer and start date.

I made it to 3, the driving test. Completed on April 30th, 2026 and was told by my evaluators the recruiter would reach out in 1-2 weeks. Today is May 10th, no rejection email or conditional offer.

Probability? Low.

Most people who move forward are given a conditional offer same day or within the week.

If you reciecved a conditional offer 2+ weeks later, please let me know. At this time I believe I am not being considered and in the rejected group.

It's also been stated people get ghosted without a rejection email or receive a rejection email days after.

If there is any updates on my experience (rejection or offer) I will let you all know.

At this time, I am "rejected" and waiting for a confirmation, but its possible my recruiter may ghost me. It's been 1 week so far with no updates from Tesla.

I have my driving test/interview scheduled for 9am East Coast group. For those who've gotten to this point in the hiring process, when dis you receive your location details?

I'm checking my email every 30 minutes haha. Would it be at the on-site location I applied to?
