Is this local chit fund a good investment? ₹13k/month → ₹5L after 30 months

I’m considering joining a local chit fund run by a friend of my father, and I’d like to get some opinions from people who understand chits/investing.
The structure is:

  • Duration: 30 months (Aug 2026 – Jan 2029)
  • Monthly contribution: ₹13,000
  • Total amount I pay: ₹3,90,000
  • If I wait until the final month, I receive ₹5,00,000
  • So the nominal profit is ₹1,10,000

There is also an option to redeem earlier. The amount I receive depends on the month I redeem. For example:

  • Aug 2026 → ₹3,00,000
  • Aug 2027 → ₹3,37,000
  • Aug 2028 → ₹4,27,000
  • Jan 2029 → ₹5,00,000

I have attached the full schedule.

The important point is that this is not a large/established chit company. It is a local chit organized by my dad’s close friend, so there is obviously some trust involved.

Does this look financially attractive compared with putting ₹13k/month into an FD, debt fund, or mutual fund?

TIA

ersistent bumpy texture on my nose + nose tip is constantly prone to pimples . What could this be?

I’ve had this issue with my nose for around 4–5 years and I’m trying to understand what I’m actually dealing with.

My nose has a very bumpy/rough texture, almost like lots of tiny bubbles or small bumps underneath the skin. There are also what look like clogged pores/small pimples across the nose.

The most annoying part is my nose tip. It always seems to have a noticeable bump/raised texture even when I don’t have an active pimple. The tip is also extremely prone to getting pimples. Whenever I get an inflamed pimple there, the whole tip becomes very red and swollen and honestly looks like a clown’s red nose 😭.

This has been going on for years rather than being a recent breakout.
I’m planning to see a dermatologist, but I’d also like to understand what this might be and hear from people with similar experiences.
