I am considering the trucking profession, but don’t know if I will qualify since I take 10mg Ambien every night to fall asleep. ChatGPT says the USDOT may not pass me because of that. Is this true? Is there anyone else that takes 10mg Ambien is able to drive CDL?

I am 53 in Atlanta and am no longer employable in IT due to outdated skills and age. I am considering a career in trucking and have heard some good things about Schneider, especially since they pay for your training. What kind of average salary can I expect in year 1, year 2 and year 3? Thank you!
