Concerned

I managed to get a video but not as closeup as I would have liked. It was a quick critter and I had to dig around in the soil a bit to find it.

Friend or foe?

Spider mites?

So I had removed the majority of it before I thought to take a picture, but there are remnants of the web bing at the base of the stalks. I had bought this orbifolia a week ago and so was quarantining with a rattlensake plant and lemon lime prayer plant from the same store.

I kind of panicked since I didn't have insecticide for it, end up wiping down the leaves of all 3 plants with diluted dish soap, then rinsed them all under the tap after 15 minutes and then finally rinsing them all with distilled water to flush the chemicals out as much as possible.

The orbifolia is now quarantined separately from the other two which are in a different room, and as far as I could tell there was little to no sign of invasion on the other two. I know dish soap isnt ideal so im planning on getting something less harsh tomorrow when the stores open to spray them down in a few days after they've recovered a bit from my harassment...

Also sprayed the shelves with PreEmpt and washed my hands in between handling any given plant.

Did I jump the gun too early? Or is there something else I should do at this point?
