AITAH for using a potentially offensive group chat name?

I studied law in university ten years ago, my course included a module on terrorism law. I made a study group for the class, for which we made a WhatsApp group called, in laconic fashion, “Terrorism”.

Tine passed and everyone left the group, so it was just me. I started using it as a way to make notes for myself - if i found a video i wanted to save for later, i’d “send” it to that chat, for example. Or if i wanted to draft a long message without risking sending it, that’s the chat i’d use.

Anyway, somebody at work noticed me typing into the ex-group chat on my laptop and freaked out, ranting at me about how i'm trivialising terrorism, how i'm making a joke about it and going so far as to suggest that I - seemingly due to my political views (which are entirely non-violent, and mainstream in many countries) - may indeed be a terrorist myself. I don't think i need to dignify that with a response.

It’s been a topic of some note around my workplace for the last week. My employer agreed that it was a silly cause for outrage, but asked me to change the group name to curb the drama. I said no; i like that the group reminds me of university, and more broadly it just seems like i'd be, well, letting the terrorists win if i did so.

AITA? I don't feel super strongly about it, i won't die on the hill if it becomes an even bigger issue but...still.
