Hi all!

I am looking for ideas to accessorize my dress. I already have shoes sorted (I went with powder blue Gucci horsebit sandals)

For the ceremony, this is my dress and veil. For the reception, I have a sparkly scarf that matches the veil that I'll swap in. I will wear this for first dance, and I am considering a shorter, flowy dress for late night dancing since this one is pretty heavy.

I never expected to get a dress like this (princess, sparkly) but it was the only one that made me cry, so here we are haha

Originally I was thinking no accessories, but after seeing some really campy weddings on Instagram and TikTok, I want to go for something more statement. I'm a non-traditional person so I'm open to something funky!

I've been considering tulle opera gloves and a statement choker for a baroque look but I'm genuinely open to all suggestions. I also love the idea of changing up my accessories throughout the night and leaning into my theatrical side.

For wedding context: Our wedding is outdoors in the fall at an art gallery. The color palette is crimson, fig, and olive and the vibe is gothic, moody, and medieval. I am most excited for dinner and our long serpentine table with fruit and florals inspired by Dutch Masters paintings!

Thanks in advance! 😊

Hi again!

I am in LOVE with the Annie's Ibiza Moonshine dress + Cape. I think it would be so cute for a second look and engagement photos.

However it's pricy to get the set, and while I am not against it, I worry the dress would be too short on me and not so flattering since my legs are pretty curvy.

I am wondering if anyone has suggestions for a trusted dressmaker who could do something custom with intricate beading.

Thanks! :)
