Should I wear gloves with my dress?

I’m trying to decide if my dress needs gloves! I like both options, but am wary of traditional gloves as I have long fingers and am planning on having long nails for my wedding. I’ve included pics of gloves I think might be cute!!

My dream dress ❤️

Here’s my dream in all its glory! We were set to get married 10/2024 and then our Venue shut down.

We are wanting to reschedule (but we did get married at the court) the wedding party but don’t know how to go about that. I wanna show off my dress and not just leave it sitting in storage forever… HELP! What do we do?

I'm not sure which websites I can and can't trust. Need recommendations of online dress shops that are on the cheaper side. That aren't scams. USA, 900$ is really My max I'd like to spend

This is the dress I REALLY want. However the same stock photo is on multiple websites. Don't know which I can trust

Help Me Decide!

I can’t decide between these two designs. I like that my body is shaped in the first dress and how it gives a gothic elegant look. However, I then think about the size of the second dress and wonder if that gives more of that princess fairytale vibe. Ughhh I’m so conflicted and need to make the decision soon:((

I just picked her up yesterday, I just knew straightaway 🥺

Yesterday was the first time I went dress shopping. I’m getting married on the 1st of September and I really did put it off until yesterday but here we are! I just knew after trying six that this was the one! I’m still in disbelief over the whole thing, I thought I’ll take weeks to decide but my gut said this one!

How to store?

It’s been about 1.5 years since my wedding, but my dress is still in her dress bag in my closet. I really want to store it properly or even display if possible because I am still so in love with how pretty it is.

Does anyone have good online places that can do that? Or anything local in the Sacramento, CA area?

Please Help Me Decide

Hi! I went dress shopping with my mom recently, but it’s been really difficult to decide on a dress! Could I please get some help? Everyone I’ve asked so far has had a different favorite dress.

While shopping, I learned that I like light weight A-line dresses. I love off-the-shoulder sleeves and I will add them to whichever dress I choose.

Thank you! ☺️

Help, wedding dress regret!

I bought the dress in the first 2 pics. My mom absolutely loved it and I think that’s what swayed me to buy it, however I cannot get the dress in pic 3 out of my mind. I would prefer it to be more white like pic 4 though. What do ya’ll think? Should I buy the other dress? Do none of these suit me? Please help a lost bride out!

I fell in love with this dress but after the fitting feeling a bit of dress regret. This was when I first tried it on. It's a bit more fitted now.

I had wanted to add a corset but the tailor/seamstress talked me out of it. I'm really feeling the regret of that now as I wanted a more snatched look. Also sad there's not more volume on the skirt

I love my wedding dress so much

I picked up my dress today and I am SO happy about this dress. I love this dress so damn much. Alterations in the bust and hem are coming soon!

If you're just starting your dress journey and you're feeling anxiety about your dress, I hope you take your time to find something that speaks to you and makes you feel like a bajillion bucks. ✨

Wedding dress that wasn’t labeled as one

I hope it’s ok to ask for advice here.

Have you found the dress of your dreams that wasn’t labeled as a wedding dress?🥹

Everything that has «bride» or «wedding» is more expensive. Unfortunately, I can’t afford a 2000$ dress only to wear it once. 😭 I have been looking at renting one but the prices start at 600-700$. So I thought that u might as well try and buy a dress instead.

ISO Demetrios Dupe

Budget: ideally under $3,000 (USD)

Wedding Date: TBA with Feb 2027 being the earliest. Most likely Feb 2028

Country: US

Looking for a dupe of Demetrios' Maja dress (Style DP485).

It is a mermaid silhouette with a sweetheart neckline and has detachable darling cap sleeves (SL45). Though I have seen sleeves like this described as flutter sleeves or butterfly sleeves too.

The dress is out of my price range. The sparkle, design, silhouette and sleeves are stunning. Please help!

How many bustles did your dress require?

After my first fitting, my stylist said there will need to be six bustles put in. I was completely naive to thinking every dress would only require one bustle, lol. My dress contains six layers of tulle, so I am jw if that is on that far end or more on the common end of the numerical amount of bustles! Also if your dress had a lot of layers, were you comfortable staying in it the whole wedding day?

Which sleeve option?

I think I'm leaning towards the off shoulder sleeves but would love some opinions. I've asked 3 people close to me and they all chose differently. Wedding is in an orangery in Scotland in August - thanks in advance!

Please help me decide :)

I truly cannot decide between these three dresses. I like different things about all of them and my family and friends all like different ones as well. Do you all think I look significantly better in one over the others? They’re all comfortable and I felt great in each one.
***#3 is wrinkled because it just came out of the box and I was the first person to try it on, so it won’t normally be that wrinkly.

Any help would be appreciated!! Thank you :)

Picked up my dress!!!

Just picked up my dress and am so excited but have almost nobody I can show rn since I’m keeping it a surprise from everyone at the wedding except mine & grooms parents/bridesmaids. I’m pairing it with these shoes from Amazon-if anyone needs the link I’ll send it- and a fingertip length floral veil that we customized to have glitter tulle!!
Side note, it does fit properly in the top we just didn’t smooth out my back they way you’re supposed to😂

Need help deciding

Feeling conflicted. Went dress shopping and I found a dress that I loved after only trying on 6 dresses. Decided to go to one more shop to be sure and found another dress that I loved now I’m conflicted. I love both dresses and can picture myself getting married in both, but neither dress made me feel like “this is the one”. I didn’t have “the moment” and tears. I need some feedback as I’m not sure if I should go with one of these or keep looking.

I love an A-Line gown, lace bodice and a tulle bottom with some design/lace/sparkle but not much.

Edit: wanted to add that the sleeves for both are add ons, not actually part of the dress. I just liked other dresses that included those. And veils aren’t necessarily going with the dress, just what the consultant put me in.

3rd dress: I really liked this bodice and probably would’ve gone with this one if the bottom was different.

Just got the sneak peeks back from the photographer! Dress of my dreams!

My wedding was on June 7th, 2026. I got the sneak peek photos back and I can’t believe how beautiful my dress looks!

I was honestly shocked I could look this nice, and the whole day was everything I ever dreamed of and more! I bought this dress three years before I actually got married, so I sometimes worried it wouldn’t suit me anymore. Well, it was still perfect! The dress was a huge hit, and I felt so beautiful. I was so emotional walking down the aisle, but seeing the look on my husbands face really had me choking up! He cried through the whole ceremony!

The dress is by Martina Liana and it fit like a dream! I ordered it in a custom length (because I’m short) and still had to wear 5.5” platform heels, but it was surprisingly easy to move around in, especially once it was bustled! It was also comfortable and my wonderful alterationist did an amazing job! 10/10!

Feedback on new dress

I bought a new dress after not feeling confident in my original (last pic). I’m just worried the lacey look is not WHITE enough. Should I go back to my original? Can I have some feedback about my new dress? I bought the first before my weight loss and feel like the alterations butchered it. The new dress was an off the rack pick. I like it a lot it’s just maybe not what I would have picked if I had more time. Mainly just because I’m scared it’s not “white” enough or “bridal” enough. Thank you for your feedback.
