I need help

I currently have a surgery center that I am in charge of facilities for. Some of my rooms have greengate communicating zone switches. We took over a few months ago as subcontractors and the nurses are saying that the lights will turn off while people are in the room and have been for a long time before we took over.

The rooms have motion sensors, but the previous engineers had disconnected them apparently in the hopes that the issue would stop, but it didn't so they just resorted to gaslighting them to kick the can doen the road. I don't have that option. I have never personally seen this issue happen, but I have turned the light on and sat in one of the rooms for half an hour and had zero issues.

We do not have a communication board in the building. Our only lighting board only controls the parking lot lights. I have checked every room in the building and that's our only board with no circuits wired in. Everyone I talk to, including the tech support and our electrician, is at a loss. If anyone could just give me a pointer to go in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it because I'm sick of hearing about the mystery lights that apparently shut off sometimes that I never see shut off.

I'm on the verge of saying we have to ditch it and run 120 motion sensors light switches.
