For context, I have a 2017 B9. For the longest time, my sunroof was only partially working. The shade and roof itself only went partially back and would grind as it went towards the back of the track then stop and only reach about 70 percent open. After some investigating, worrying the cable, track, or motor was dirty or damaged, I peered through the back of the sunroof slot with a flashlight, and found the insolation above the headliner and behind the sunroof was torn and sagging, preventing the shade from going back all the way. Anyone else have this problem or have any advice?
