My father passed away suddenly on the 10th of this month. Me and my two brother are all equal beneficiaries. I started the bereavement process with Scottish widows and filled in the beneficiary form online and sent the relevant documents that were requested, death cert, will, birth cert for myself and my brothers. Both of my brothers have received the same beneficiary forms in the post today. Is it normal for my brothers to have to complete the same forms and submit the same documents? I'm assuming it is because I didn't recieve a form in the post, having done mine online via the link Scottish widows sent. Sorry if this is obvious for some. We are a little in over our heads, my late father had a few different pensions, and property and stuff we have to deal with. Appreciate any info. Thanks.
