I have heard a lot of mixed opinions on whether cleansing with an incense stick (the ones with many smells, the thin ones with a variety of flavours wink wink) are a valid form of cleansing your area.

Whilst I know that many people on the internet believe and say that "the intention" is the most important part of witchcraft - I really do think that ingredients and materials matter a lot.

So I want to know. Does cleansing with an incense stick work or just make the area smell nice without doing much else?
