My bf used my first time watching the franchise for an experiment
Hi, I thought some people here would appreciate this story. I (F20) am currently watching through the entire star wars franchise as someone who knew NOTHING about the films other than "Luke I am your father".
My boyfriend is a big fan and he got me to watch them. But he picked a very specific order which made episode 3 hit SO much harder than it would have watching in release order and actually got me to ENJOY star wars.
I watched 4,5,6 as most people would, it wasn't really my thing but they were okay. Then I watched episode 1 and 2 followed by all 7 seasons of the clone wars. I had no idea what order 66 was, I just knew it existed. So throughout I was theorising things like; "Order 66 the clones turn evil, and then the jedi have to kill all of them, That's why we don't see clones in the OG star wars"
And then the final arc with order 66 happened killed me, I literally cried. Then I finally watched episode 3.
I genuinely think watching all of the clone wars between episode 2 and 3 make me so much more invested than if I were to just watch it normally.
I am HOOKED. I used to say I didn't like star wars but now I'm excited to watch more. (Especially because I wanna see what happens to ahsoka)

Clone wars
Bad batch
Tales of the jedi, underworld, and empire
Maul show
And some of rebels (watching currently on season 1)
I just thought some of you guys would appreciate hearing a perspective of someone getting into Star wars for the first time. :)
