Tiny felt hats for my sister's house
The top hat is made with layers of felt hand stitched together. Inside the brim is a layer of paper board from food packaging for stiffness. There are also two rings of the same board at the top of the hat and under the ribbon for added stability. Brim is the size of an old candy tin and the tall part is the size of my salt shaker. She got the monkey lamp online somewhere.
Dunce cap is to replace a paper one I made as a joke. It's from the same sheets of felt as the top hat. Unfortunately you can see the pen under the first few letters. It lives on her soap dish in her bathroom.
