Hello, last year in June I had to buy a phone as my old one was water damaged. I went to Verizon since at the time, my phone plan was with visible through Verizon, so I thought they’d be able to help. Instead, they convinced me to buy the newest iPhone at the time with the second most expensive plan, knowing full well I was going to be loosing my job in October. I made them very aware of this and they lied saying it was the best option. (I am mentally impaired and did not have someone to assist me at the time) I’ve not been able to pay since ~December 2025 or January this year, and now the debt collectors want 1068. Like the title says, I have no job, no income, I live off benefits and my partner, and am battling homelessness. I’m scared and don’t know what to do, my credit is bad due to family using my name for credit cards (which I’ve stopped now, but the credit damage is bad) any advice is much appreciated. I knew I would have to pay Verizon eventually and have been trying to get a job for the past year, but with no luck due to my disabilities. Are there any assistance programs or services that could help with debt relief? Can I just give the phone back? Sorry if this seems jumbled, I’m just really worried
