They should've let Patty die, should've let the Scarecrow do her ass in.

Young Jade told Jade that every single time he dies the same way and that's with the town finding the truth about him and Tabitha and blaming them for everything happening

Patty knows about Tabitha now, and no way in hell will she keep her mouth shut, she will tell everyone about what Tabitha knows and then the entire town will rip answers out of Tabitha who eventually spills the truth about her and Jade, and then the cycle repeats.

So I made this post the other day theorizing that the Scarecrows are not the same as the creature that walked around the cabins at night and it looks it is a consensus among the community that the two are distinct entities

So I've been thinking, what if, in episode 5, we see a showdown between the Cabin Monster and the Scarecrows?

The Scarecrows break into the cabins and as they are about to slaughter the protagonists, the Cabin Monster shows up and the two entities have a showdown which gives the main characters plenty of time to run away and find somewhere to hide

Thoughts?

From what we know so far, the Scarecrows only came to life after they were dragged out of the water, the cabin creature was wandering around the cabins well before that, and from what we see in the trailer, the talisman doesn't stop the Scarecrows but it did seem to work on the Cabin Creature

I'll admit, there is a very high chance that I am wrong about this, but it's a cool theory so I decided to share it regardless

What do you believe could be the possible connections between these two?

Me personally I believe that they are:

1. Rival entities competing for power over the forest, the Music Box Entity was trapped and that Boyd was the one who freed it, the question is who trapped it? MIY is not out of the realm of possibility

2. Both of them are entities (or forest employees) serving under a higher power
