My X4 arrived in perfect condition, and I love it!
My X4 just arrived and everything is fine. I've bought it from the official website, so I didn't have to pay any customs fees or anything. I mention this in case you're in the European Union and have any questions, I took advantage of the Mother's Day discount and they sent me a purple case. The card reader was also included in the package. The lack of a light doesn't bother me because my main e-reader will still be a Kindle Paperwhite.
The screen is perfect, there are no issues, but I can't to switch to Crosspoint or Crossink yet, I'm not sure which one I'll get, I prefer to wait these few days of warranty. One thing that caught my attention is that it's not white but almost gray, and I think this color is much nicer.
Now I have a problem, which is why I can't change the OS. I can't connect it to my PC. I've used three different cables, and I assume they're only for charging, not data, I was convinced two of them were for data. I've tried connecting it through a hub and directly from the PC, but nothing works. At first, I tried connecting it with Calibre, but it wasn't recognized. Then I realized the PC doesn't recognize it directly either.
It didn't come with a cable to thread a strap through the holes on the bottom, and it was a real struggle to attach a wrist strap. I had to use some filament thread like the kind used for making jewelry. Anyway, I'll buy one of those that goes under the casing and comes out through the charging port.
