Hey everyone, I don't post often but I figured I would ask reddit if there was anything I can do to fix an apparent bug that happened to me in this playthrough. I only say bug because I might be misunderstanding the game mechanics. I had roughly 15 thousand horse riders and all the sudden, I lost nearly all of them and now I only have around 500.

To be honest I am not sure when it happened, I was not paying close enough attention to my troop count for years and lost my prior save files so I cannot go back. I think it happened when I died on my first character. It isn't a big deal if I cannot fix this, I am not that far into my game. But it would be nice if I could because this was about as good a start as I have had.
