Hey vintagerepwatches community, two weeks ago I posted dupe.watch here (the "helping people not fall for the $100 strap scam" post). The reception was great and the comments were full of useful feedback.

Since then I've made a ton of improvements based on your feedback. And I'm excited to share that the d.w Chrome extension is now live!:

When you're on a product page at any of 100+ supported strap retailers (Strapcode, Watch Gecko, Artem Straps, Uncle Straps, Delugs, Barton, etc.), a slide-in panel auto-suggests affordable alternatives.

It's free, scoped permissions, and only activates on supported retailers (no all-sites access, no history reading).

Would love feedback. Especially curious which retailers or features to add next that fit this community.

Hey modders. I unfortunately fell into the trap of buying expensive watch straps instead of the stuff on AliX. So I built a tool that lets you put in the URL of an expensive strap and find a dupe for it on AliX.

You can also just put "dupe.watch/" before any watch URL and that'll send you to the search results as well.
