have recently bought Sony mdr mv1 and hd 490 pro.
Although they are perfect for movies and music,i find them lacking for gaming.Can’t pin point vertical positional audio in Sony’s and for hd 490 pro footsteps in far feel very distant. i tested hd 660s2 for short time.I could hear footsteps very clearly although i couldn’t get time to test in depth(vertical and horizontal positional audio).
Now i m getting hd 480 pro used(from youtuber almost new ) and hd 660 s2 open box without bill for 190 $.
Which one should i go for?
I will pair them with my btr17.
Tested out hd 660 s2 with my btr17 . surprisingly it felt easier to drive then my hd 490 pro. I had more headroom with hd 660 s2.
Need suggestions asap.🙏🏻
