I'm considering participating to a clinical study that investigates Prednisone as a treatment for recurrent pregnancy loss. It means I'd get assigned to taking Prednisone (or a placebo) for 8 weeks at the beginning of the pregnancy.

I've had 3 first trimester MMCs in the past and for two of them I ended up needing emergency surgery due to excessive bleeding.

I am a bit hesitant as Prednisone is an immunosuppressant and could be problematic in case I need surgery yet again.

Do you have experience with Prednisone as treatment for your RPL? What were the outcomes? What dose did you take? Did you experience side effects from taking it?
