Hey everyone,
I’m from Shillong and I’ve completed my BSc in Statistics. I’m now planning to pursue an MSc in Statistics (or something closely related like Data Science/Applied Stats) within India.
I’m a bit confused about which universities I should realistically apply to and which ones are actually worth it in terms of:
placements
exposure
academic quality
future scope (data science / analytics / research)

So I wanted honest advice from people here:

👉 Which colleges should I target (ambitious / moderate / safe)?
👉 Is it worth focusing fully on IIT JAM / ISI entrances?
👉 Any underrated colleges with good placements?
👉 If my goal is data analytics/data science, should I consider MSc Stats or something else?
