(Updated) Current Affiliation of Each Overwatch Hero
With the latest Sierra lore coming out, our Overwatch heroes' positions are getting some major updates on their backstories! Here's a detailed grid showing every affiliation and their members, in case you missed any! Let me know what you think!

The Star Symbols indicate the Heroes that are complicated in their lore.
Here are the explanations of the complicated heroes to not create any doubt:

Soldier: 76, Illari and Sombra: Let's start with the most unsure Affiliation, "The Anti Conspiracy" called like that by me, IT IS NOT OFFICIAL YET.
We know through in game voicelines and some animations that Soldier is fully invested in his own plotline and likely to be unaffiliated from Overawtch with the events taking place unless they happen to cross his path (Which may actually happen depending on what info he discovered at Zurich, given other plotlines taking form like Emre with the Conspiracy).
He has helped Illari investigating the suspicious nature of the incident along with Sombra. It is speculated that Oasis, Moira, and now the Chernbog AI somehow were behind the explosion and stole her people's technology schematics in the process.
We also know that the Inti Warriors were soldiers under the Paqarina Research Group.
The Paqarina are now partnered with Oasis, and Illari is no longer associated with them. We could still say she is an Inti Warrior, but we could argue that it no longer qualifies as an affiliation/group.
While Sombra could be considered the founder of The Anti Conspiracy group, since her first release story trailer her whole lore is about it. And she lead Soldier: 76 towards the fact that there might be a connection between them and the fall of Overwatch too.

Sierra: The previous animation that came out few days ago finally confirmed us that Sierra has joined Overwatch after meeting with Sojourn and asking her personally. Her star was given just to update people about it.

Ana: Ana apparently returned to Overwatch in the webtoon Undivided which then ties into the characters' escape seen in From the Ashes, we can't really be sure yet if just as a supporter or as a fighter agent yet.
But she looks pretty ready to go in battle for Overwatch. For references: she left Jack to his vengeance in the Lost Ghosts short story, to return to Overwatch.
And we even saw her (unceremoniously) return to Gibraltar in the Together comic from Christmas ‘24.

Torbjorn: He’s not an operating Overwatch member, but we still see him help Overwatch even during the PVE missions, unlike Soldier.
And he’s completely retired but still accepted to help Overwatch with their struggles.
So he got moved under the Overwatch column in it's own Ironclad Guild.

Emre: Using the help of the Overwatch Wiki I decided to move Emre under the Talon Agents tab, from the previous Bounty Hunters one.
Emre is working for Talon while he is being controlled against his will. He is not a voluntary nor mercenary individual anymore.
Emre is described as a "killing machine" being forced to work for Talon by an unknown, external power.

Sigma: Some voicelines in games makes us understand that Sigma is seen by Vendetta just as a weapon.
And if he dares to break free she will kill him.
We also know Sombra says she wants to go back and save him, so let's wait for future lore.
He for sure don't want to be in Talon anymore.

Symmetra: As it is right now Symmetra still gets the job done for the Vishkar Corporation even tho she mostly hates where things are going or isn't related much to what's going on.
So she might not be along side Talon but she's still working for the same agency that got adopted by it.
This sadly makes her join this category.
I'm sure something will happen with her, maybe she will team up with Lifeweaver once again or even Zenyatta.

Hanzo: he got moved to be more an indepenent person, previously was in the Yokai.
Yes, he is willing to help them but now that we added the Independent category I'd much rather put him as part of that.

Mizuki: is the weirdest hero as it is right now, we know he is part of the Hashimoto Clan who just got under Talon, but we also know he got infiltreted in the Yokai Clan.
But in the previous season event we see him on the blue side of Overwatch. Maybe the Yokai will join that side?
As far as we know let's leave him in the most neutral spot which is the Yokai with a star close to him.
We know the next hero will be the leader of the Hashimoto clan. So maybe more will come from it.

Kiriko: just like Mizuki we saw her in the blue part of Overwatch in the previous season event so I'll provide updates about her as soon as, and if we have them.
Maybe she will eventually join Overwatch!

Roadhog and Junkrat: As far as we know they got banned personally from the Queen herself from Junkertown. (There are still their faces all around wanted posters in the map)
In my opinion, the “Together” comic scene doesn’t mean Junkrat and Roadhog made peace or rejoined Junkertown under Junker Queen.
It’s more like a light slice-of-life moment, not a status change in the lore where they might be getting closer to her. But because I've recived many comments of them being still Junkers, we will put them under this category with a star sign close to them.
Even tho i think they would fit more the Independent category.

Zenyatta: Zen left the Shambali a long time ago. After helping Genji find his peace, he realized he didn’t like the limits of their dogmatic teachings, and left to heal the world by creating interpersonal connections with people who need it.
So now he is more of independent.

Doomfist, Reaper and Widowmaker: Since Doomfist got defeated, Reaper and Widowmaker both left Talon.
We currently have 0 clues of what they could be doing / planning right now.

Keep in mind that things are moving fast and this might get outdated really soon! And that also this took me a lot of time to program and put togheter all the infos, so please be kind and be understandable! The Overwatch lore is a mess and it's really hard to find everything. Enjoy!
