Thermal Relief for SMA connector - Yes or No?
Hello everyone,
I usually put thermal relief for the GND pin of the SMA connectors to ease the hand-soldering process.
However, this time I want to order the boards with a fabrication house (JLCPCB to be exact) and I am aware that the assembly process uses wave soldering.
So, is it worth putting thermal relief into the GND pins or I can just pour the copper directly over the pins? If so, which would be a "good" relief?
My board is 4 layers (1,6mm) with 2 full GND inner layers.
Thanks a lot folks.
