10 day old new born screaming and crying uncontrollably! Advice needed
Needing advice on what to do, new born has been home for 10 days and is crying and screaming uncontrollably. We’ve taken her to the gp today and the gp has given us a new formula for colic and constipation. We have no idea what is going on and we try everything to soothe her but nothing works. The screaming is like a wailing scream and sounds like shes in pain. Please tell me your experiences with similar experiences like this and when does it get better? Any advice will be much appreciated, we are extremely sleep deprived and dont know who and where to turn to

Me and the Mrs would like to thank everyone for the kind and supportive comments. We genuinely really appreciate every one of you that has commented and given us advice. We are extremely sleep deprived and are trying to get through this all. We will definitely try out what people have recommended and see what works moving forward. Reading similar stories has given us confidence that this is just a phase that will eventually fade, hoping that is soon. We’re trying to stay super strong and are very supportive of each other and will do what it takes to comfort the little one. Thank you all, you are a great community!
