[UPD] Transferring as T2 Student
Hello! I'm a first-year student planning to transfer to UP Diliman after finishing my first year. My course choices were BA History, BS Architecture, and BS Chemical Engineering. My GWA barely meets the minimum grade requirement for BA History unlike the other two courses. As of this writing, the date is June 30, 2026-- same day for the last day of passing requirements as a T2 applicant and I was wondering if I could still pass my requirements in a few hours.
A.) My local university is a tri semester, and finals are in the second week of July while submission of grades is in the third week of July. Is it possible to submit my requirements even if the units are below 33+? I planned to submit a letter waiving my third semester true copy of grade signed by the registrar and ensuring I will submit ahead as soon as it becomes available.
B.) If I failed passing my requirements today, will there be applications for the second semester for T2 Applicants or will it be another academic year?
C.) If everything fails in my behalf, is it still worth transferring as a second-year student and start back as a first year UP student? or should I pursue the remaining years and graduate instead
It has been my dream to become a full-fledged UP student and graduate with a sablay. I waited for a year just for this very moment. I failed UPCAT before but now I have another chance to redeem myself as a T2 applicant. Any response will be appreciated!
