Help me decide my next build parts
Hi all. I have recently started an upgrade journey for my PC. The base I started with was a low end build consisting of a GTX 1650, Ryzen 3 3100, 1 stick DDR4 16 GB RAM, an Asus PRIME A320M-K motherboard (Micro ATX form factor)
After doing some searching online, I've seen that in terms of upgrade priority, GPU seemed to be the part that overwhelmingly was the first choice
Some weeks ago I recently bought an RX 6700 XT, an upgrade over the 1650, but with the rest of the build still the same. I was aware of the fact that this would mean I would be CPU bottlenecked, but still did it anyway with the plan to upgrade the CPU later and eventually get 2 sticks of DDR4 RAM instead of a single stick.
With the GPU done, I was wondering for the CPU, what would be a good budget option to pair with the 6700 XT? One that comes to mind is the Ryzen 5 5600X or the regular non X variant? Otherwise I'm not entirely sure how to move from here.
Also, I'm not entirely sure if the current motherboard is fine for whatever CPU you guys might suggest or the 5600X/5600?
