If, for the next Stories game you could choose your destined monstie beyond Ratha, who would you pick?
For me, hear me out: Alatreon
Not only would the idea engage such an interesting and unique narrative, as you are trying to tame a literal Black Dragon. A species known throughout the world as being forbidden elder dragons and walking calamities wherever they tread, and yet despite it all, you keep going on as being the sole rider for one, likely being a criminal for such an action. But it also would be a monstie that can adapt vastly to the late game much better than any of the Rathas. Since its element swapping could be its means of switching its secondary element, it can fill so many different roles for your party, essentially being a swiss army knife. Not to mention, it's an Elder Dragon, so it naturally would be really strong. Perhaps throughout the game, you slowly make it stronger as it learns how to use each of its elements, unlocking more moves and more of its full potential as the story progresses. Morphing from the Avatar of Dread that the species is most known for, to a strange heroic beast that saves the world with its calamitous powers.
I just think it'd be a sick idea, is all.
