HWY 33 Duck Rescue!

Cheers to the folks who helped a momma duck, and her two babies that were trapped against a barrier alongside HWY 33 in the Black Mountain area! The poor lil guys had nowhere to go except to keep following the barrier right next to traffic, or to cross the busy highway, and momma duck made the decision to attempt a crossing.

Luckily for them, a vehicle that spotted them and stopped were our duck heroes who carefully picked up (with gloves) the ducklings, and the momma placing them on the other-side of the barrier, right near the big ol' pond next to the church.

Also shoutout to the other vehicles who stopped, and made a blockade to ensure the safety of all involved. It was very nice to witness. ❤️
