Community Tips for Backpack Newbies
I am looking for a guidelines post or tips and tricks by experienced backpackers. If you have any tips please post below. And hopefully answering my questions helps others that are also new to the game.
My situation:
Back pack would be used as an everyday carry. I’m 6’1” 250lbs, and would like a backpack that doesn’t look incredibly small on me. I would like to be able to carry a laptop, general tools, a small change of emergency clothing, and then the normal daily items (phone/wallet/keys, etc.). I’ve tried looking into modular designs, but every thing is overly “military” design. I’ve tried blue collar designs, but they all look like massive boxes on your back. White collar backpacks I’ve found are super slim and really just for a laptop to hang off your shoulder, and extremely pricey.
Would anyone know how to look up the type of bag I’m looking for? I appreciate all input. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!
