SG Christians: how does your church handle the Paul vs James "faith vs works" thing?
Not here to argue, genuinely curious. Paul says justification is by faith apart from works (Rom 3:28), James says faith without works is dead and a person is justified by works (James 2:24).
How do you reconcile these? Are they answering different questions, using "works" differently, or is there real tension? Also curious whether Paul lines up with the other apostles. Keen for a good-faith conversation.
