Why don't unopened gifts appear in your inventory to friends?
* Please note that I am by no means trying to spread negativity - I am simply hoping for some more visibility on an issue that I have already reported to finch in depth, and have yet to receive any sort of response. I am nothing but grateful to the devs of this app, and am only hoping this can be fixed.
I have experienced multiple times now where I have been gifted the same item by multiple people - simply because they are all sending them before I have a chance to click on "open my gift". I always feel AWFUL when this happens...my tree friends are so kind, and are taking the time to go out of their way to send me something that they know I'm looking for. Only for their item to just be lost from them because someone already sent it to me and they can't see that until I manually open the gift (I hope I am explaining this well). It's confusing - because within my own app, items will appear to ME in my own inventory even before I "open" the gift. Why is this not the same for other people to see? I feel that as soon as you are sent something, it should become part of your inventory (meaning others can't gift you the same item as it will show you already own it - even if you haven't checked your phone to open it yet). I feel so guilty when this happens...deep down I know it's not my fault, but it just makes me feel so sad that the item is now lost to my friends - especially when it's an exclusive item or they've spent their hard-earned stones to buy it. It feels heartbreaking thinking about that. Maybe I'm overthinking this, but I really wish this issue could get resolved. It's happened too many times now and I'm sure maybe others have experienced the same?
