Jiu Fen Old Street work in progress. Finding it much easier to have the pdf instructions than the booklet because then I can zoom in and see better.

So I took the plunge and went for this after seeing it for only $30 Cad on FB marketplace. I was worried pieces will be missing but thankfully all parts accounted for. Doing it slowly. I love the bling!

Finished it just now! Was a lot easier than I expected! And went by way too quickly! 🤩 I really enjoyed putting all the little buildings together and then to see how it all come together on each side. No issues with wiring or sensor so that was good. Good thing I always go over each sheet at the end, I missed like 6 things!! 🫣 And that's with checking everything off and I still missed!! 🤣 Guess I still need more practice! A great kit for a beginner or novice. Still sanded lots so made putting the walls together much easier. I recommend this kit!

I am having so much fun with this kit. Thank you to u/FlexyZebra who pointed me to the digital instructions. I now have it on my iPad where I can zoom in each step! Loving how it looks so far. The pieces are a bit finicky so I sand most of them just in case. And I got a three pack craft tacky glue which I think it is a Alleen’s tacky glue imitation and some other fast grab and quick dry glue. No smell which is a plus.

Morita Ya from Cutebee. After my coffee factory, I wanted something quick and easy and this one fitted the bill. Very straight forward. EXCEPT, almost ALL the pieces needed to be filed before snapping nicely. I didn't mind it because it's calming work and I enjoy listening to quiet music while I build. At first I was a bit bored with just building parts but as the build went on and things started to come together it became much more interesting and fun. Tiny mishaps here and there. Now that I'm done, I LOVE it and I remembered why I wanted to get it in the first place. I would have recommend it for a beginner if it wasn't for all the sanding. Not sure if I will buy from Cutebee again. Coming from ROKR to this, it was really obvious how much better Rokr's quality is. Also got my Booknook Global order on Saturday! I have the Ginzan Onsen and the Jinfen in the stash now!
