For those that don't know, Ozzatron, current lead for Calamity, was found to be a groomer, just like Fabsol. This caused a lot of people that were official and fan made to leave Calamity projects entirely.

I was talking with some of the official people from Calamity, including Evobyte, TheForge129, Heart Plus Up, and CD Music. Here's a little bit of stuff.

Status updates on things:

• Heart Plus Up is pulling her music and sprites from Calamity, and she's now working on a new mod
• CD Music won't make the Exo Mechs theme and is pulling his music too
• TYESKI is pulling his music as well
• Catalyst is dead, with its code going open source
• Infernum, Wrath of the Machines, and Wrath of the Gods are done, so unaffected
• Calamity Overhaul is dead
• Calamity Fables is still alive and well, at least as we can see for now
• Reign of Yharim (the indie game) is still making a decision
• TheForge129 is still going to work on the Yharim theme he's making, as well as finishing a previously secret theme for a Catalyst mod boss named Zeus, which was an exo mech version of Astrum Aureus
• Speaking of Zeus, it's going to be put into an addon for Calamity Fables
• Vanilla Calamity Mod Music is rebranding to Serenity Music Mod
• Ozzatron is stepping down from lead, with the dev team trying to find a new lead yet again

Overall, everyone that I've spoken to is devastated, especially those who trusted Ozzatron like CD Music. He will make a video addressing his feelings about this soon.

Catalyst is dead, WotG is lucky it's done, Overhaul is lucky it's packing its bags, and worst of all, Vanilla Calamity Mod music is dead, unfinished, with multiple people pulling out of it entirely!

The Exo Mechs! It's kind of a tradition to make a theme for the Exo Mechs if you're a Calamity fan composer, and I figured it was my turn to do that too! I know that I went a little too heavy on the bells, but to be fair, I didn't plan on going so crazy with the bell quantity. If I had to change anything about this track, I would probably remove the bells in the last intense part. Other than that, I think it's great! I'm very proud of it.

I really wanted to honor the original drafts for the Exo Mechs theme that CD Music scrapped, especially the one where the first ever instance of the Ascension motif showed up. Soooo... I completely replicated the second teaser melody by ear! It only felt appropriate to honor the original to me.

So anyway, this is Exotic Resonance, my personal little fan theme for the Exo Mechs!

So... this is the theme for the lava layer/caverns in Terminum. You know, the Calamity fan soundtrack mod I've been working on and have posted for before. I'm only posting this to say uhh... something BIG is coming this next Saturday. A REALLY important track for Terminum! One I didn't make, but another team member did. Possibly the best theme in the entire project so far, too! That aside, I made this one, Rock and Stone, to completely foreshadow the Hell theme. I'm proud of how this came out, and am SO excited to share what'll come soon.

So a few things.

Firstly, this one took forever to get out because I wanted a custom sprite for it, and it took a while to make.

Second thing is that I think it's obvious with all of these posts that I've been working on a project. The project is called Terminum, and it's like if the Vanilla Calamity Music mod was unofficial again and worked on by different people (I'm not the only guy lol). We stick to the lore of Calamity throughout the whole thing. On top of that all, this project will be a mod, and soon at that!

Last thing, this song, being the first one made for Terminum, is from 7 months ago! It's pretty damn old compared to my other stuff, so it has a few more rough edges.

But yeah, TLDR of it is that I've been making a fan project with some other people and this is the first one that was actually made for it.

I named it Ichor Coagulant since I wanted this to feel like a post-ML variant of the Perforators, and ichor is actually the name for god blood, as well as being associated with the Crimson!

I've been working on a project called Terminum with some other people that's basically just a music mod that's a Calamity fan soundtrack. This morning, Tyeski suggested to me that I should advertise it more. Might as well do it in a place where Calamity stuff happens.
