Anglo-Danes beginner list

Hi,

I am currently getting into Saga - Age of Vikings. I had two practice games, and have settled for Anglo-Danes for now (might also play them as Vikings from time to time).

My first draft for a list would be:

1pt Warlord

2pt Hearthguard (1 Heavy weapons, 1 regular)

2pt Warriors

1pt Levy (Bows)

Is this viable? Should I switch something?

Hi, I'm thinking about getting into Saga, and picked up some sprues second hand. More precisely, I got me one sprue of Victrix Vikings and one of early Saxons. I built them not really caring too much about options, but mostly combining what I thought looked cool. So, since I got models with both Viking and Saxon elements, I thought these would work as Anglo-Danes in Saga?

Would that be a good warband to learn how to play Saga with? Is their play style fun?

I know that I would have to get some more figures obviously, so maybe a bit of insight into the game would help. I watched some explainer videos on YouTube, and it seems like Anglo-Danes are a bit more balanced then Vikings, if I remember correctly. So maybe a good choice?

Let me know what you think, dear Saga community. I'm happy to hear any tips and opinions. I have some wargaming experience, but I never played any historical system...

Cheers, Julian
