After days of searching online about the size guide for Golden Goose Super Stars, I finally purchased a pair online and thought I would give anyone else struggling some advice on how to decide what size to buy.

For reference, I wear the following sizes for other sneakers / shoes:

1. UK 8 on Adidas Ultraboost 3.0
2. UK 8 on Adidas Ultraboost 5
3. UK 7.5 on Reebok Club C 85 (the soft white PU leather version)
4. UK 7.5 on Kobe 8
5. UK 7 on Tod's Gommino Loafers
6. EU 40 on Birkenstock Gizeh

I bought size UK 7 / EU 41 on the Super Stars. They fit well but I have to say I have wide feet so there is some spacing at the front of the sneaker but not excessive. It's ok because of the lacing so I can tie it to fit well. If you generally like snug fitting or have narrow feet, I think UK 6 would be better.

I like to wiggle my toes in my sneakers for casual wearing so I gambled on UK 7 and it worked out fine.

Since Golden Goose doesnt do half sizes, I think if you are in between sizes, going up a size will do you well as you can tie the lace or wear thicker socks.

Hope this helps anyone who might be in the same boat as I was when I was contemplating on the sizing.

To continue marvelling at the beauty and shopping available in Japan, my wife & I (with our 18 month old baby) will be travelling to Japan sometime in October.

Just wanted to check if there are any unspoken rules on taking trains or generally anything else etc with babies (i could only gather so much from google) while we travel around Japan. We want to be as respectful to the locals as possible during our travel considering our ethnicity descent (chinese).

And for those who did travel Japan with a baby before, any tips you can share to make our trip easier and more enjoyable? Thanks!

Hi. I recently bought this pair of sneakers from Tods. I was in between sizes so went with the higher half size. Im just wondering if anyone has any advice on similar lacing i could get online whereby i could tighten it? It’s not the usual lace material and i’d be grateful if anyone has suggestions on similar lacing but with the ability to tighten it? The one that tods came with cant be tightened.
