Slipgate Classic Beta 0.1: Quake E1 rebuilt on the Half-Life engine, with Quake AI and the NIN soundtrack
I've been porting the opening of Quake's first episode to GoldSrc as a Half-Life mod, and the first public beta is out. It has the start map plus E1M1 to E1M3 with the original layouts, secrets and monster placement, Quake monsters running Quake's own AI (infighting included), Remaster-style lighting, and the NIN soundtrack. You play as Gordon Freeman.
It needs Half-Life and Deathmatch Classic on Steam, and you don't need a copy of Quake.
