5th Gen Limited Water Leak follow-up

Okay, following up on my previous post. Dealer has had my car for a while and has finally found the intrusion of water into my cab. I’ve never seen this happen before and now they are working on tracing the entry point. It’s localized to the driver side and has been pooling behind the driver seat (assuming because of the low point) What would cause this?? They told me it was a lot of water.

They have checked sunroof drains, AC evaporator line and the windshield because a previous Toyota technician said water was entering on the passenger side from the windshield being installed incorrectly. When trying to reproduce that result (with the glovebox off) they did not see any water entering the car. The odd thing is that I took the vehicle in because of leakage signs behind my drivers seat. The passenger side of my car was completely dry as well as the front foot wells.

It was localized to the driver rear passenger footwell area. How the first technician said passenger side I’m not sure, but when retested they found nothing. This is the strangest thing I’ve seen, I’ve only owned this car 7 months and it was a very clean one owner lease return with hardly any wear on it at all. Any ideas?

I have a 2022 4Runner Limited and I’ve been chasing a water leak that’s soaking the carpet behind the driver seat. The carpet/padding underneath is definitely getting wet enough that the 1st dealer allegedly found mold starting underneath and quoted me $5,000 in repairs

Here’s what’s weird:

-Front floorboard is NOT wet
-Headliner does not appear wet
-No obvious dripping anywhere

It seems to collect specifically behind the driver seat under the carpet
Sunroof drains were checked and appear to be flowing correctly
Happens after rain, but not every single time
Toyota dealer originally thought it was a windshield issue from a previous windshield replacement and said they water tested it and saw intrusion. I took it back to The Dealership (where I bought the vehicle) for a second opinion because of cost concerns and they are now re-testing everything and say they currently cannot reproduce the leak from the windshield with hose testing or car wash testing.
They’ve pulled the glovebox and checked around the dash area and aren’t seeing obvious intrusion there either.
At this point I’m wondering if anyone here has experienced:

-roof rack seal leaks
-body seam leaks
-AC drain issues
-door vapor barrier leaks
-windshield molding leaks that only happen while driving/raining
-or water traveling under the floor to the rear footwell somehow

Would really appreciate any ideas or known 5th gen leak points I should mention to the dealer. I love this truck and just want to get this resolved correctly.
